The programming committee for the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference invites all members to submit ideas and proposals for panel discussions, workshops, peer group meetings, lecture-demonstrations and other programs. Almost all of the programming is provided by the membership! The sessions are meant to provide opportunities for participants to expand their knowledge, enhance their expertise, and share their experiences in order to help each other solve common problems. We welcome proposals for programs designed to serve various Folk Alliance constituencies, including:
  • performers and songwriters
  • presenters and artists representatives
  • traditional and world music
  • record companies, broadcast and print media, and music publishers
  • dance and storytelling communities
  • technical assistance (computer applications, marketing, legal, bookkeeping, grant writing, volunteer coordination, etc.)
  • potpourri (programs that do not fit in any other track)
